Privacy Policy

KAMKAM provides the LaunchClock app free of charge. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information we do not collect
LaunchClock does not collect personal information. There are no accounts, and the app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location or contacts.
The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking, and KAMKAM operates no server that receives data from the app.
Information stored on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to KAMKAM:
- Your country or region setting
- Your filter selections
- Your notification registrations and timing settings
- A record of the notifications already scheduled
- A cache of the launch schedule feed
Uninstalling the app removes this information.
Network communication
To show the launch schedule, the app fetches a data feed from GitHub Pages (https://kam-if.github.io/space-launch-feed/v1/launches.json). This is the only network communication the app makes on its own. The request does not include any information that identifies you.
As with any web request, GitHub may record the IP address of the connecting device in its server logs. KAMKAM does not receive these logs or the IP address. See the GitHub privacy statement for how GitHub handles this information.
External links
Links in the app (live streams, official information and data sources) open in your browser. Those sites are operated by third parties and follow their own privacy policies.
Notifications
LaunchClock uses local notifications, which are scheduled on your device. The app asks for notification permission the first time you register a notification. If you decline, the app still works but cannot remind you. You can change this at any time in your device settings.
On Android, the app may ask for permission to schedule exact alarms so reminders arrive on time. Without it, reminders may be delayed. This permission is used only to deliver your reminders.
Data provider
Launch data is provided by The Space Devs (Launch Library 2, https://thespacedevs.com/llapi). Its accuracy is not guaranteed, and schedules may change. Country names are based on Unicode CLDR.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and KAMKAM does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
The feed is fetched over HTTPS. No electronic method is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when needed. Changes will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
