Privacy Policy

KAMKAM provides ChronoCraft, an iPhone app with an Apple Watch app. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information we do not collect

ChronoCraft does not collect personal information. There is no account, and the app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts.

The app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking, and KAMKAM operates no server that receives data from the app.

Information stored on your device

The following information is stored on your device and is never sent to KAMKAM:

• The watch designs you create (parts, materials, names, and so on) and their thumbnails
• App settings (sound, haptics, lighting, the Apple Watch long-press action, and so on)
• The design shown on your Apple Watch and whether it has been delivered

Deleting the app also deletes this information from the device.

Syncing with iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for ChronoCraft, your designs are saved to your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud (a CloudKit private database) and synced between devices that use the same account. Design contents and names are stored encrypted. This data lives in your own iCloud account, and KAMKAM cannot view or retrieve it.

You can turn iCloud on or off for the app at any time under your Apple Account's iCloud settings in the Settings app. Without iCloud, every feature of the app still works on your device. For how iCloud handles data, see Apple's privacy policy.

Sending to Apple Watch

The design you choose to show on Apple Watch is sent from your iPhone to your paired Apple Watch using Apple's device-to-device communication (WatchConnectivity). This transfer happens only between your own devices and is never sent to KAMKAM.

Photos

When you use "Save for Photos Face", the app asks for permission to add images to your photo library. The permission is used only to add the image; the app never reads photos from your library. You can use every other feature without granting it.

Motion sensors

To make reflections and the rotor follow the tilt of your device, the app reads the device's motion sensors. The values are used only on the spot for display and are never stored or sent.

Children's privacy

KAMKAM does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not collect personal information.

Security

iCloud syncing and sending to Apple Watch use mechanisms provided by Apple. No electronic method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as needed. Updates will be posted on this page together with the last updated date.
